Working for Mountain Mechanical we support our local community. We support involvement in industry associations and community service projects. Our pet project is the Chilirhea held annually to raise money to help cure Alzheimer’s. Our owner’s grandmother fought Alzheimer’s so finding a cure and supporting this event made sense. Project Manager / Estimator
- Plan, organizes, directs and controls all flow of materials & equipment to the site to ensure progress is at pace with construction.
- Estimate job costs for all types mechanical systems using hard copy & digital plan formats Ensure all bid document modifications are captured prior to bid date.
- Receive & review vendor/subcontractor pricing to ensure all meet plans & specification prior to bid date.
Superintendent
- Supervise and manage employees (15+) and subcontractors working on large mechanical system(s).
- Responsible for day-to-day activities of multiple crews & all assigned subcontractors while managing site scheduling with construction managers.
Foreman
- Supervise and manage employees (5-10) working on moderately complex mechanical system projects.
- Responsible for day-to-day activities of the crew & all assigned subcontractors while keeping required documentation in place.
Journeyman Plumber
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in mechanical contracting.
- Capable of taking a complete crew(s) & successfully completing system(s) installation without directive from foreman/superintendent.
4th Year Apprentice
- Advanced skill.
- Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, safety practices, and equipment used in the plumbing trades.
- Capable of taking large tasks to successful completion without oversight from a journeyman or a master plumber.
3rd Year Apprentice
- Advanced semi-skilled.
- Solid foundation of trade knowledge in place & capable of taking small tasks to successful completion with limited oversight from a journeyman or a master plumber.
2nd Year Apprentice
- Semi-skilled.
- Study and begin to apply knowledge & methods learned while working with a journeyman or a master plumber.
- On-the-job training to learn the trade.
1st Year Apprentice
- Entry level.
- Basic knowledge of methods, materials, tools, safety practices, and equipment used in the plumbing trade.
- Study andlearn while working with a journeyman or a master plumber.
- On-the-job training to learn the trade.
